In the days that our company was founded, economy in Turkey was penurious, importing export machinery, equipment and technology was both extremely difficult and expensive, MERŞET created its own manufacturing equipment and technical processes which allowed it to produce quality products that could compete with the global protective wrapping industry albeit rather slowly. That entrepreneurship earned both the company and the country foreign currency which was short during that time. In time, with the changing global and local economy, and the change of dynamics that govern them, Merşet exported the best machinery that enabled it to provide products to its customers at a lower production cost, and at a faster rate.

What sets Merşet apart from its competitors is the revolutionary retail service of selling its Bubble Wrap products in per square meter basis. Thanks to that selling policy, our customers enjoy up to 45% reduced packaging costs and can easily estimate their stock state. Our customers still inform us of their appreciation for the per square meter based sales we provide. Since 2000, with the protective products we provide, our customers are achieving increased savings while enjoying quality protection to their products, and have been showing their trust to MERŞET. 

In 2013, we started multi-layered barrier film and Flex Food Packaging production, which are commonly used in the industry today. For the sole purpose of producing these products, we designed our plant’s 2000 m2 area in accordance with the relevant legislations. Today, we are proud to serve the food industry with single use protective packaging products with the most advanced technology and equipment available. We have Extrusion Coating and Lamination, Solvent-Free Lamination, Slitting and Vacuum package production machines in our plant. Today, all our machines are made in Europe.
